Meta’s Business Subscription Package Update
Meta (formerly Facebook) just announced a new verification process for Meta Elements. Meta Elements is their subscription package for businesses on Facebook and/or Instagram.
This process aims to give businesses a blue verified badge that indicates that they are legitimate and authentic. This also includes features like advanced insights, scheduling tools, and enhanced customer support.
Though new elements are added, they are also offering high-priced tiers as much as USD $349.99 per month.
So what do you get for your money? Other than the badge and enhanced support, there are also new elements like:
– Enhanced profiles with more link options and visual elements
– Have your profile appear “at or near the top of search results”
– Have your business shown in “Meta Verified” display units
– Get 2 to 6 links in reels per month
– Employee impersonation protection (verification badges for chosen employees)
– Custom messaging chats
– Access to “semi-annual” profile reviews from a Meta expert
Authenticity and credibility are important in the digital space. This move by Meta shows their agreement to it. They are helping businesses the opportunity to build trust with their audience and stand out.
To avail of these new packages, businesses need to apply and meet certain eligibility requirements. Meta then puts you through a verification process and reviews your application within 3 working days.
Is the money worth it? We can’t tell yet but Move Ahead Media will surely be monitoring it.

Ten Essential Meta Tags and HTML Elements For SEO
Best practice has always been that HTML meta tags are an important part of SEO. Even if you write fantastic content, attract backlinks and have a great page layout design, it won’t be useful without HTML tags. And of course, vice versa.
Imagine you’re writing a story, and at the beginning, you want to tell your readers some important details about your story without actually including them in the story itself.
HTML meta tags are like little notes you put at the start of your story for the computer to read. These notes tell the computer things like what language your story is in, what it’s about, who wrote it, and even how it should look on different devices like phones or computers.
These notes help search engines understand what your story is about, which can help people find it when they’re searching online. So, just like how you write down important information at the beginning of your story, web pages use HTML meta tags to give important information to computers and search engines.
HTML tags tell Google about the page’s content in the most digestible way. That’s what makes it so crucial for SEO success.
So to make sure Google does not lower your ranking, here are some essential Meta Tags for your site:
– Title Tags.
– Meta Description Tags.
– Robots Meta Tag.
– rel = “canonical” Link Tag.
– Social Media Meta Tags.
– Schema Markup.
– Heading Tags (H1 – H6)
– HTML5 Semantic Tags
– Image Alt Attributes
– Nofollow Attributes

Website Security Is At A Premium. Secure Yours Now.
Wordfence reportedly blocked `00 billion password spray attacks in 2023 alone. It is estimated that there’s an average of 30,000 websites hacked every day!
Those are big scary numbers. Hackers and malicious actors will do everything to get sensitive data. That’s why we are seeing more cyber security attacks than ever before.
43% of online attacks are aimed at smaller businesses as they are easy targets compared to larger companies. And unfortunately. Only 14% of those are prepared to defend their sites.
At Move Ahead Media, we have a passionate team of developers and digital marketing experts. We not only aim to get you sales and awareness, but we are also here to make sure your site is secure.
But there are things you can do on your own. Check out this list so that you’re not part of the 14%!
– Implement SSL Certificates
– Require and use strong passwords (and update them regularly)
– Install a security plugin
– Keep WordPress (CMS) Core Files Updated
– Pay attention to themes and plugins
– Run frequent site back ups
– Avoid using “admin” username
– Hide your WP admin login page
– Disable XML-RPC
– Harden wp-config.php file
– Run a security scanning tool
– Work with a reputable hosting company
– Use the latest PHP version
– Host on a fully-isolated server
– Use a web application firewall
Thankfully, these tips don’t require too much technical knowledge as long as you have the right tools.
If your website is not secure, it can cause you a lot of problems. Remember, prevention is better than a cure.
